We sent out a message on the freecycle cafe (not freecycle which definitely is not about swapping books) with the details of our last post on. We are not sure which part of the post below the moderators objected to. If people brought books along with pages missing would you blame the moderator of Freecycle? We might add if you follow the link below to the rules it takes you to the normal Freecycle rules which are about wanted and offered stuff. The Cafe is a 'fringe' place for freecyclers to hang out and 'chat about community events and issues, local environmental issues, and other common interests'

I'm afraid I've had to delete this message as borrowing, loaning and
swapping are not allowed. This is because if something went wrong like
the item getting broken or lost, it's possible that the moderators or
Freecycle could be held responsible. Also in the message you are requesting items which is not allowed on the cafe site.
 
I have put you on moderation so we can check your next few messages
