Well we have been getting a few nudges here at the Tourist Board to ascertain if it will be happening again, especially in the light of the expected bun in the oven in September.

The Lady Mayoress would love to see this quirky little competition become an annual event, and is keen to throw her weight behind it, as much as is possible in the time she has available.

The time constraints to pull together a calendar this year may be a little to much, but we are looking for people who want to get involved in putting the Charming Armley Cake Competition on the map for a second year running.  If we get cake crew together it need not be an onerous task.

Do you feel like helping out? We suggest a lovely social on the 20th August (7ish) at a yet to be determined venue to ascertain expressions of interest, and who can do what etc.  What say you? Want to see it happen again? Fancy hearing more?
